Taurus 2×2 The Bike With All Wheel Drive

All terrain vehicles are amazing! And I am not speaking about your regular family SUV branded by it’s manufacturer as an All Terrain supercar! I speak about real all-terrain vehicles that can reach places we never thought a vehicle will see! Vehicles like the Marauder, the UHAC or the GHE-O Motors Rescue Vehicle!

Today, we’ll show you another all-terrain beast that can reach beyond imagination. But this time we’ll go for two wheels instead of four – the Taurus 2×2 (Tarus 2×2 on it’s original name).
The Taurus is a Russian made all terrain motorcycle created to help riders travel through forests, swamps, climb mountains, cross snowy planes and any other difficult terrains you can think about! The motorcycle comes in two versions: the 2×2 Taurus 2 – a collapsible model (can fit in two handbags) with low pressure tires weighting around 110 lbs (540 KG) and powered by a 5.5hp engine hooked to a 3 speed transmission. The second model, the 2×2 Taurus 2M weights around 160lbs (73KG), has heavy duty tires and  is powered by a 4stroke 7hp engine and features a foldable design.
Both models can reach speed up to 37mph (60 KMH) and have a fuel consumption of 0.3 US gal (1.2 liters) per hour! The on board fuel reserve allows about 4.5 hours or riding.

The Taurus all terrain motorcycles are in project mode and they should be available on the market soon. The expected retail price turns around $980 US and the motorcycles will be delivered in a DIY assembly kit.
