Benelli BN251 2015

Benelli has submitted to the 72nd edition of the International Motorcycle Exhibition in Milan ( EICMA 2014 ) four interesting news. The House of Pesaro, owned by a Chinese giant, has decided to implement the BN range with a new model for everyone. This raises the BN251 2015 , a mini-naked look inspired by the "big sister" BN six hundred of the Leoncino brand.

The new Benelli BN251 2015 is powered by a single-cylinder , four-stroke, liquid cooled, with dual axis distribution overhead camshaft and electronic fuel injection, able to ensure the best performance for this type of vehicle, but especially to contain consumption. The maximum power is 24.5 hp (18 kW) at 9000 rev / min, the torque of 21 Nm (2.14 kgm) at 7000 rpm.
Benelli announced the price of the new mini-naked BN 251 2015, entry level of the House of Lion Cub at a price less than 3000 euro.

The chassis has been designed to ensure maximum maneuverability, for a streamlined motorcycle, snappy and responsive whether using both metropolitan between curves. The new Benelli BN251 2015 adopts a trellis frame in steel tubes, compact and durable. The total weight, dry the BN251, it is 150 kg. The suspensions provide an upside-down fork with 41 mm diameter legs and back to a swinging arm with adjustable center damper hydraulics, with 50 mm excursion.
The braking system of the BN251 adopts a 280 mm diameter disc with 4-piston caliper at the front and a 240mm disc with two-piston caliper at the rear. The 17 "wheels in aluminum alloy mountain tires 110/70 front and 140/60 at the rear. BN251 is proposed in the colors white, red and blue and will be available from the middle of 2015.

In his last season under the ownership of the Chinese Qian Jiang Benelli has grown from a groundbreaking firm ‘super naked’ to just put your name in Europe to models sold in China. The last to arrive after his presentation at the EICMA 2014 is the Benelli BN251 2015 that further democratizes access to the range with respect to the two-cylinder  Benelli BN302 .
